Finally

Finally the ribbon scarf is done. It's not as long as I wanted it to be, but it's appropriate scarf length. It's now on sale in my Etsy store if any one is interested in purchasing... HomeGrownMagic is the shop and it's $9 with $5 shipping. So $14. Yay!

I am thinking of getting rid of the shipping and just including it in the listing price... So the scarf would still be $14, but no extra shipping. Meh, something for me to think about. Well, I've got video games to play and another scarf to finish so I'm off. But here are some pictures for you of the finished scarf.

Yay internets!

But not from Comcast. We still don't have their Internet but it was getting ridiculous so we asked AT&T about a month to month plan and they were like "we can get you reconnected today!" So I was like, yup, fuck Comcast I need internets. So we're still waiting on them because we need the faster speeds with both of us gaming online, but we at least have something until they get their shit together. 

In other news I've been working on the loom because my wrist has been giving me problems and it's the least wrist intensive. Now to find some food, and prepare a little for starting a new gym program. I'm finally going to be not fat.

Still noooo internets

So we are like day 12 or 13 of no Internet. I officially hate Comcast. And Starbucks will put a shot of espresso in a vanilla bean frappe thing and it tastes like awesome.

I've worked a little on the cream scarf. Went to the gym. Took a nap. Pretty productive if you ask me.

Serious Face!

Okay, so I had a moment at like 2am where I had to go through and reorganize all the yarn projects in the house. I pulled one out because I really don't know if (a) I like the direction it's going or (b) I know the direction it was going so I pulled it, rewrapped, and put it back with the other unused yarn.

After inventory I have:

3 scarves (2 weave stitch 1 awkward knit)

1 cowl on the loom

I thought it would be a lot more too. It's not. Granted I also have two blankets, but one's the scrap and the other will never be done and I just have to accept that. BUT! Those listed will be the ones I finish first, hopefully by then I will have either found my embroidery needles, or I will have made enough money to get a few more. Then I can continue work on Epic Pokemon and get most of it done before I get the itch to do something else.

I have a lot of funny cross stitches to do. I am excited about those, but I promised myself, as I was buying the 105 floss colors that I didn't have, that I would do at least 70% of Epic Pokemon before I started anything else.

Well, if I don't have internets

I might as well be productive... I've got quite a few projects that need to be tended to and with no Internet/FFXIV to occupy my time between sleeping and working I might as well finish and/or make some kind of progress. I mean lets face it... work, sleep, and video games is really all I do. 

I still can't find my embroidery needles and I know as soon as I buy more they'll fucking show up. It happens every freaking time. I mean I have one and it'll get me by on Epic Pokemon but being able to have a few colors going makes it easier to count stitches and to not get bored. For now though I have a blanket, two scarves, and a shawl to finish.

Also, I love my father but sometimes he takes forever to do things... I really want my sewing machine. I have things to fix and alter... Oh well... It will happen. I just have to wait.

Life

I'm fat, I'm crazy, and I'm working my ass off for the next 6 days. 

So I've started a diet, and medication. I don't have a remedy for the working thing yet... But I do have a puppy and a man that love me. I'll get through it... With the help of Xanax.

Quack, quack.... I really don't have anything else to say... I haven't been working on anything lately. I do have a scrap yarn blanket I'm working on but I didn't feel like it was that cool. I was just accumulating too much yarn that couldn't be made into things.

New sewing machine?

So, I'm excited because I might be the proud owner of my very own sewing machine. I found one that looks pretty awesome and affordable. It might not last for forever like my mom's, but it should get me through the next few years.

Which means I can actually start quilting and altering clothing, which means my etsy site might actually make me some money now.

It also means this blog will get updated more because I'll actually be crafting again. Yay!

I'm going to take over the card table/dining room table.... Bahahahahaha

Decision: Made

So I finally decided that I'm done with college for the moment. I have effectively dropped all the classes I could until I got a hold on my account which I don't really care about because I'm not attending anymore. 

Now don't get me wrong, I do want to finish. Even if I'll never use it I want that sense of accomplishment. However, I need a break. I need some time to sort out my life, make a little money, and be an adult. My main problem with school is that I've never made it the top priority. It has always been a top priority but not the top one. I'd like to keep a roof over my head and food in my tummy first. Apparently that is not how my teachers feel.

I wish I'd had the courage to drop out sooner. I feel fried. But I don't regret going, I met people who I love and who love me. People I can't imagine life without. Granted not as many people as my mom said I would but I'm also not super into social events like her.

College is not a waste. I just can't handle the fire anymore.

Oh hello BRIGHT FUCKING ORANGE ICON

So, I've decided that the app was a good thing to download. Not only can I see the icon in the folder I put it in but it is bright orange and I calls to me. It's like "Jessy... You must write in me.... Even if you have nothing to saaaaay.... Your non-existent readers need you Jessy." 

Creepy I know. But hey, it gets me here to write even if no one reads.

Anyway, two things today. One: Neopets is just as awesome as I remember. Two: candy crush is just as lame as I remember. Random third: I need to go to sleep because I have an 11:30 shift tomorrow. But I am not tired!!!!!! Rawr. And to think if I had a third shift job I'd have the same problems. 

I used to think that having a third shift job would be awesome because I'm up then anyway. As I've gotten older and had a few friends work thirds, yeah.... Fuck that in the ass. I'll take a semi normal schedule over an 11-7 shift any day. Well off to bed I suppose... I don't have anything else to say that wouldn't be wasting more of my/your time. Guess I'll go read or something.

Yeah.... That just happened... again.

So once again I go on a six month break from even looking at this blog. Well that is my luck, at least no one reads this so the only person who is truly disappointed is me. I need to write more often because I know I am more productive when I can get my thoughts out of my head.

To be super honest though I haven't really worked on any of my projects. I started a new job and am slowly realizing how much I hate school and how I might not be going back to finish this semester. I will finish, but I feel that a break is in order. Because I shouldn't look at things in a "If I crash my car and die I won't have to write that paper/ do that homework" light. That's bad. I know it is. I don't do it if that is any consolation.

Well, it is getting late. Granted I have nothing really to do tomorrow, so maybe I'll work out and work on something. Oh wait... I also have a blog post for my English class due tomorrow... I suppose I'll do that first and see what kind of time I have left over, cause that is actually going to happen. Hah.

Anyway, I'm back for the time being so look forward to more ranting about how I hate everything. I know I'm excited.
